In 2005, an investment advisor stumbled across something unusual: traditional wet shaving — a "disruptive technology" that happened to be over a century old. Less expensive and more effective made for a good investment, but it was the unique satisfaction — brief concentration chased immediately by a pleasant sensation — that really moved the needle.

That pleasant sensation was the aftershave splash — the refreshing finish that transformed the entire experience from obligation to pleasure. After sampling every aftershave available and finding none quite perfect, Fine Classic After Shave was born in 2013, igniting a craft aftershave revolution and helping bring traditional wet shaving back to a new generation.
